Giulia Ferrarese (Zevio, Verona, Italy 1985) lives and works in Milan. In 2008 she graduated from the IUAV University of Venice with a specialization in Visual Arts, and during the four years of study she participated in the Erasmus program between UdK (Universität der Künste Berlin) and Ca' Foscari, in Berlin. In 2013 she graduated from the NABA in Milan with an artistic and curatorial specialization. In 2012 she was in Kassel as assistant to Chiara Fumai, also lending herself as a performer in the closing event. She follows dance and voice workshops with Enzo Cosimi and NicoNote, and participates in projects as performers of Tino Segal, Francesco Ronzon, Alice Ronchi, Luigi Coppola and Virgilio Sieni. In 2021 she received the special mention of the jury for the video "Calipso" at the San Giò Festival in Verona, which develops into the site-specific exhibition "Ipno-Calipso" in the church of San Biagio in Triuggio, Monza, curated by Vittorio Raschetti.

At the same time Giulia practices drawing, which she exhibits in a solo show on Greek divinities illustrated on large scales in colored pastels at the Blik studio in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain, which is preceded by a group exhibition in stages starting from Sarmede entitled "The images of fantasy 35”, curated by Monica Monachesi.
